Keep the night going after the reception. With a full buyout your party runs until 1 AM, with a custom cocktail menu, late-night sandwiches, fries and donuts, and room to dance.

We don’t have a separate private dining room. We set aside parts of the restaurant for semi-private parties, or you can book the whole place: up to 60 seated or 85 standing.

For larger events, consider reserving the entire restaurant. Accommodating up to 85 guests, this option provides exclusive access to all our spaces, allowing for a customizable and expansive event experience.

Lafayette Park View

(seats up to 15 people / reception style up to 25)

Located next to our large windows, this space provides street-side views of Lafayette Park, creating a picturesque backdrop for gatherings. With ample natural light, it's ideal for both daytime and evening events.

Back Parlor

Our cozy Back Parlor features exposed brick decor and banquette seating, perfect for intimate gatherings. Guests can enjoy direct access to our dartboard and board games, adding a fun element to any event.

Bar Packages

Drinks are billed on consumption, so you only pay for what your guests order. Choose a full open bar, beer and wine only, or a short list of signature cocktails (great for naming one after the couple).

Soft drink package: $5 per person.

Frequently Asked Questions

How late can our party go?

We’re licensed until 1 AM, so with a full buyout your after-party can run until 1 AM.

How many guests can you host?

Groups of 10 to 85. A full buyout seats 60 or holds 85 standing. Smaller parties use the Back Parlor, Lafayette Park View or the patio in season.

Do you have a private room?

We don’t have a separate private dining room. We set aside parts of the restaurant for semi-private parties, or you can book the whole place.

Can we bring our own cake or desserts?

Yes. There’s a $5 per person cake-cutting fee.

Can we have music, karaoke or a DJ?

We can arrange live jazz or karaoke for your event. If you’d like a DJ, you’re welcome to book your own.

Can we decorate?

Yes, decorations are welcome. We just ask for no confetti and no candles.

Do you have a mic or TV for speeches and slideshows?

Yes, we can provide one with advance notice. Let us know in your inquiry.

Are kids welcome?

Of course, with the exception of late-night after-parties and cocktail events.

Can you handle dietary restrictions?

Yes. Gluten-free buns, vegetarian and vegan options are available. Tell us about allergies in your inquiry.

How far ahead should we book?

As early as you have a date. October weekends and December holiday parties fill first.

Where are you, and where do guests park?

268 Washington Street, across from Lafayette Park in downtown Salem. Street parking is out front, garages are nearby, and we’re a short walk from the MBTA commuter rail and the Salem Ferry.
