Do you host private events?

Yes! The Babe offers private event hosting for birthdays, office gatherings, and casual celebrations. We can accommodate small-to-medium-sized groups with food and cocktail service tailored to your needs. Inquire via our Private Events page.

Do you offer catering?

Yes, we offer limited-service catering throughout Salem and the North Shore. Our catering menu includes sandwiches, salads, and batched cocktails for casual events, office lunches, and private functions.

Do I need a reservation?

Walk-ins are always welcome! However, we recommend reservations for groups of 6 or more or during busy weekends and events. You can book online through Resy or contact us directly.

Are you walking distance from downtown Salem?

Yes! The Babe is located in the heart of downtown Salem, just a 5-minute walk from popular attractions like the Witch Museum, PEM (Peabody Essex Museum), and Essex Street pedestrian mall.

Where can I park near The Babe?

Street parking is available on Washington Street, and we’re a short walk from the Museum Place Garage and Church Street lot. Parking is generally easiest on weekdays or before major events.

Are you open during Salem Haunted Happenings?

Yes — we’re open seven days a week during October and all major Salem events. It’s a great time to visit, but we recommend arriving early or making a reservation for groups.

Jazz Night

TUESDAYS | 7:00-9:00 PM
Featuring live music from jazz duo Steve Lacey (guitar) & Pat Dole (upright bass). Come enjoy a cocktail and sandwich while taking in some classic jazz. Tuesdays will feature a rotation of artists from the Boston area including musicians from the North Shore and Berklee School of Music.

THURSDAY NIGHT SOCIAL is a vibrant weekly event designed by and for the LGBTQ+ community to provide a welcoming place to meet, share, and socialize. Weekly programming with guest performers and your drag host — Geya Jenda!

We're collaborating with local organizations, bringing in special guests and events, and tailoring weekly soundtracks based on your feedback. Come out and enjoy!
Friday Night Karaoke

FRIDAYS | 8:00-11:00 PM
Join us every Friday for Karaoke in collaboration with ND Productions and hosted by Shirley! Our karaoke events feature wireless mics, weekly themes and some special surprises for those willing to put it all out there! Kitchen open until 11pm serving up some of the best sandwiches and bar food on the North Shore – all made from scratch! Weekly drink specials and a wide range of spirits, beers and wine to give you some liquid courage. Come out and hang!
